  2. Business Mentoring
    Offer advice and mentoring to an IASIO client interested in setting up his or her own business
  3. Job Preparation Skills
    Strong, industry-specific CVs, Sales Pitch / Dynamic Interview skills
  4. Soft Skills Workshops
    Talk to IASIO clients on Groupwork Programmes, in the community or in prison, about personal traits and characteristics employers seek in an employee.
  5. Job shadowing
    Provide an opportunity for brief on-the-job ‘taster’ experience particularly for younger clients who may not have a work history and are unsure of what’s involved
  6. Advice
    Keep IASIO informed about recruitment drives in your sector, skills shortages and industry-led training needs
  7. Become an IASIO Champion
    Publicly support IASIO and its efforts to bring about effective change in people’s lives. Choose a particular cohort e.g. female offenders, young people in prison or people with mental health difficulties. Or simply mention IASIO on your website, in your Newsletters etc.
  8. Offer Linked Work Experience to a young IASIO client
    Government initiative aimed at 16 – 25 year olds with the aim of addressing youth unemployment. This six month programme aims to support the trainee in gaining valuable experience in the world of work.

    Our staff have access to a large pool of skilled, semi-skilled and low skilled job-seekers. Let us know about your vacancies by phoning our office on 01 8662706. Our Training & Employment Officers will recommend an appropriate candidate for you, and offer you support before, during and post-placement.
